All doulas, new or seasoned; birth or postpartum doulas are welcomed to attend.  If you don't live close by, call Jill and she can easily come to your home to do a workshop -ask about hosting the workshop and taking it for free!

  • The Science of Sound: Vibrational Energy in Birth and Beyond

    With scienceacknowledging the changes in the brain hemispheresduring labor, doulas can learn new strategies from themodality of sound for meaningful pre natal visits, elements for labor and birth and tools to interconnect the couple she is serving. As Michel Odent has remarked in interviews, ‘pregnant women need to sing to their babies...it is a lost art needed to be
    re-awakened.’ Doulas need to know how sound is a powerful, primal and potent force in pregnancy, labor and birth and how to harness this element for their clients. The implications of using sound for labor and birth is profound and important tool for doulas to empower expectant families. Interactive, creative and restorative, this workshop will be filled with dynamic learning and provide new ways for doulas to be in a professional, helpingrelationship with their clients.
